Before Film Director and American Filmmaker Jeffrey Ikahn knows it, spring will be here! If nothing else, that means more and more film festivals will be hosting screenings. March 2025 is already looking to be quite an exciting showcase of pictures. From indies to major motion pictures, March is set to be jampacked with screenings! This week, Ikahn shares the spotlight on film festivals being hosted in Asian countries and the United Kingdom.

Asian Film Festivals
China
Filmart will take place March 17-20, 2025 in Hong Kong, China. A leading entertainment content space, the event is hosted by the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market. Film Director Jeffrey Ikahn looks forward to hearing about the cross-media and cross-genre tech set to be featured by over 760 exhibitors at the event.
India
Red Lorry returns after the film festival’s grand debut in 2024. Featuring 120+ film screenings by Indian filmmakers — all shot in 70mm. As someone energized by the creative process, Jeffrey Ikahn is fascinated by Red Lorry’s dedication to reviving, revitalizing and maintaining the enthralling excitement of 70mm film in modern cinema. Red Lorry will take place March 21-23.
British Film Festivals
Across the pond, there will be plenty of exciting film festivals taking place throughout the United Kingdom. Jeffrey Ikahn is particularly looking forward to exciting new projects screening at FrightFest Glasgow (6-8), Kinoteka Polish (March 6-April 25), Manchester (14-23), BFI Flare: London (19-30), Hippodrome Silent Film Festival (19-23) and Berwick Film & Media Arts (27-30).
